Rantings of a Madman.

Greetings, This was in last week’s Local newspaper.

Interesting how one person’s observations of your family makes you take a deeper look.   One of the things that surprised me was that to us is common place seemed extra ordinary to others.  He specifically made comments about me checking on Nerd’s (teen age son) agenda and such.  What’s so interesting about that?  Am I supposed to hand him the keys and send him out the door?  Is he supposed to have just run off without checking in? 

                While discussing this with Shelene (my lovely wife), we wondered why the folks at DFCS sent him to us.  As he was here for the interview he made comments that the folks at DFCS wanted him to talk to us. There are others we know of that have more children than we do, and some of them do Teenagers only, some do medically fragile children and… well you get the picture.    I wonder why we came so highly recommended. 

                Anyway, my 15 min of fame.
